Acid Etched Sliding Glass Partition in Satin Brass
For this Palm Beach home the primary bath needed a divider that lets light through but keeps privacy, without the swing of a hinged door. ACG Glass & Metals built a full height sliding glass partition that closes off the bath from the adjoining room.
The partition runs on a top mounted OX-XO sliding system, so the two center panels slide open toward the ends and the outer panels stay fixed. The glass is 3/8 inch low iron acid etched monolithic tempered glass, which gives a soft, even white with no green tint and still lets daylight pass from one room to the next.
Every panel is wrapped in a 3/4 inch satin brass U-channel frame to match the brass fixtures of the bath, and the active doors use recessed handles so nothing sticks out when the panels pass each other.
