Who we work for
General contractors and owners we build for
Every logo below appears on a finished project in our portfolio, with the system and the glass listed. Most are general contractors, and a few are owners who contracted us direct. Ask for the contact and we will give it to you.
What we need
Send this and we can price it
You do not need a complete permit set to get a number from us. These are the pieces that let us price without guessing, in the order they matter.
- Exterior elevations, or interior elevations for partition work
- The glazing schedule, or the window and door schedule
- Specification section 08 41 13 if the job has one
- Any addenda already issued
- Finish schedule, so we quote the right anodize or coating
- Your bid due date, and the site address
What comes back
A number you can actually carry
We price system, glass and labor as separate lines, so when the architect changes the finish or the glass makeup you can see exactly what moves instead of asking for a whole new quote.
- System, glass and labor broken out as separate lines
- The manufacturer and series we intend to use, named
- Alternates where a different system saves money or time
- Exclusions written out, not buried
- Lead time on the framing and the glass, stated separately
The packet
Everything your precon team asks for
You should not have to chase a subcontractor for paperwork. Ask once and the whole packet comes back from this office, not from a portal.
Certificate of insurance
Issued to your entity, with the coverage and limits your contract asks for. Same day in most cases.
W-9
Current, signed, ready for your accounts payable system.
Florida license SCC131154568
Certified specialty contractor, glass and glazing. Certified is the statewide tier, so the license is not limited to one jurisdiction.
Project references
Named jobs with the general contractor contact, so you can ask someone who has already worked with us.
Product approvals
The Florida Product Approval number or the Miami-Dade NOA for every assembly, attached to the drawing it belongs to.
Shop drawings
Drawn in house, including anchor conditions, and nothing is ordered until you stamp them.
Trade scope
What we sign for, and what we do not
Our license qualification is glass and glazing specialty. That is the scope we bid: aluminum storefront and curtain wall framing, entrances, laminated and insulated glass, interior partitions, mirrors, railings and the metal work that goes with them.
Structural, electrical and roofing work that sometimes sits next to a glazing package is performed by the appropriately licensed trade on your project, not by us. We would rather say that in precon than have it surface during permitting.
Start here
Send the elevations
Drawings, a glazing schedule or even photos of the opening are enough to start. Commercial bids go out from 48 hours once we have what we need, and the reply comes from the estimator who priced the job.
