11. ACG Glass Mobile App
Our ACG Glass app for iPhone lets anyone request an estimate, and lets our customers and our team sign in to their accounts.
Estimates. When you ask for a price in the app, we collect the details you enter (name, email, phone number and, if you add it, the installation address) together with the options and measurements of your project. We use them to prepare your estimate, send it to you and follow up about your project.
Customer accounts. You can sign in with your email and password, or with a one-time code we text to the phone number we have on file. We use your account to show you your upcoming appointments.
Team accounts. ACG staff sign in to see their daily schedule, let customers know they are on the way, add notes and upload job photos to the customer’s project. The camera is used only for those job photos.
Service providers. The app only talks to our own systems. Text messages are delivered through our SMS provider, and the addresses you type are completed with Google Maps. We do not sell your information, and the app does not track you or show ads.
Keeping and deleting your data. We keep estimate and project records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal obligations. To ask us to delete your account or your data, email [email protected].
12. ACG Customer Portal and Sign in with Google
Our Customer Portal (portal.acrystalglass.com) lets our customers follow their projects: each step and its date, upcoming visits, the documents and invoices we share, project photos and their project manager. You can read more about it on our Customer Portal page.
Signing in. Customers sign in with a one-time code we send to the email or cell phone number we have on file, or with their Google account. We never ask for a password.
Sign in with Google. When you choose Continue with Google, Google shares with us your email address and the confirmation that it is verified. We use it only to match you with the customer contact we already have on file and to open your projects. It never creates an account. We do not receive your Google password, we do not store Google tokens, we have no access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar or files, and we do not use this information for advertising. We never sell it or share it with third parties.
ACG Glass & Metals’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we keep. When you sign in, we keep a record of the sign-in with your email or phone number, the date, your IP address and your browser type. We use it to keep you signed in on that device for up to 60 days and to protect your account. Sign-in codes are deleted after 7 days and expired sessions are removed automatically. To ask us to delete this information, email [email protected].
13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
