Frameless Corner Shower Next to a Glass Block Window
This Oyster Road residence in North Palm Beach has a primary bath where the shower sits in a corner beside the tub deck, under a tall glass block window. The owners wanted a frameless enclosure that would keep the daylight from the window moving through the whole room.
We installed a frameless enclosure in 3/8″ clear monolithic tempered glass. A fixed panel rises from the knee wall on the tub side, and the front closes with a fixed panel and a hinged door.
The hardware is in a brushed nickel finish, with a towel bar pull on the door that matches the shower fixtures. The clear glass keeps the glass block window and the light it brings in fully visible from the bathroom.
