Closet Mirror and Glass Tops | Marsh Cove Residence, Palm Beach Gardens

A Mirror Backsplash and Low Iron Glass Tops in the Closet

This Marsh Cove residence in Palm Beach Gardens has a walk-in closet built out with white cabinetry, glass front upper cabinets and a run of dressers. The owners asked for glass to finish the dresser area and protect the painted tops.

In the open niche between the upper cabinets and the dresser we installed a backsplash in 1/4″ clear 1st grade mirror. It reflects the closet lighting and the shelving across the room, so the niche reads brighter and deeper than it is.

The dresser tops were covered with glass tops in 1/4″ low iron glass, along with a low iron glass shelf. Low iron glass has almost no green tint, so the white cabinet finish shows through clean and the glass protects it from everyday wear.
