Starphire Shower Enclosures with Polished Nickel Hardware
This Palm Beach home on N Lake Way was finished with large format marble in both the master and the guest bath, and the owners wanted glass that would let the stone read from edge to edge. ACG Glass & Metals fabricated and installed frameless enclosures for both showers.
Every panel is 1/2 inch Starphire monolithic tempered glass, a low iron glass without the green tint of standard clear, so the white marble stays true through the glass. The polished nickel hinges, clamps and pulls were set with stainless steel fasteners to match the plumbing trim in each bath.
In the master bath the enclosure wraps the shower and its marble bench and runs up to the stone header, and a toilet partition in 1/2 inch Starphire acid etched glass was installed in the same polished nickel finish. The guest bath uses a frameless door and fixed panel over the curb. All labor and deliveries were included.
