Glass Office Doors with Matte Black Grids
The home office in this Palm Beach Gardens residence opens off a curved hallway, and the owners wanted to close it off for quiet without losing the view of the room and its built in shelving. ACG Glass & Metals filled the opening, approximately 58 by 97 inches, with a pair of equal glass swing doors.
Both doors are 3/8 inch clear monolithic tempered glass. Matte black grids are applied to the glass with silicone, giving the doors a divided light look that matches the dark accents of the house while keeping the glass completely clear between the bars.
The doors hang on commercial hydraulic self closing hinges with a soft close and a 90 degree hold open, and each leaf carries an 18 inch square back to back handle. All labor and deliveries were handled by ACG.
