Five Frameless Shower Enclosures with Satin Brass Hardware
This White Pelican Way home in Jupiter received five custom shower enclosures: the her bath, the his bath, two guest baths and the pool bath. Each room had its own layout, so every enclosure was measured on site after the tile was finished and built to fit its opening exactly.
The her and his baths use 1/2 inch clear tempered glass for a heavier, more solid feel on the larger enclosures. The first guest bath uses 3/8 inch glass and the second combines 3/8 and 1/2 inch panels depending on their size. The clear glass keeps the large format stone walls and the mosaic floors in view from the rest of each bathroom.
Satin brass hardware was selected for the primary and guest baths to match the brass plumbing fixtures, and the pool bath was finished in polished chrome. The result is one consistent frameless look across the house, with the finish of each enclosure tied to the fixtures in its room.
