ACG Glass & Metals is supplying and installing the glass and mirror package for the common areas of Salato, a new luxury condominium on Briny Avenue in Pompano Beach, working with general contractor Kast Construction. The scope runs through the entrance and elevator lobbies, the event lounge, the owners lounge, the sitting areas, the gym, the pool deck bathrooms and the saunas.
Most of the work is architectural mirror. Gray mirror wraps the lobby and lounge walls and runs floor to ceiling in the gym, close to 70 linear feet in three runs. Clear mirror goes into the bathrooms, and frosted bronze mirror accents finish the pool deck bathrooms and the saunas.
In the event lounge a single 1/2″ clear tempered glass panel, about 21 feet wide and almost 10 feet tall, closes the space, with a decorative gradient film added during construction. Every piece follows the architect’s details and our shop drawings, with polished chrome trim where the design calls for it.
The installation is ongoing, and we will add photos to this project as each area is finished.
