0.1 Project Scope
ACG Glass & Metals replaced the storefront glass at Darma Hair Salon on S Military Trail in West Palm Beach. The salon front runs along a covered walkway with two large glass openings, and the owners wanted new, clear glass across the full facade to brighten the interior and refresh the look of the business.
Our crew removed the existing glass and installed new clear tempered glass in both openings: eight fixed panels of about 45″ x 92″ and two doors of about 31″ x 92″. The existing frame was painted for a cohesive finish, so the dark frame lines read clean against the new glass.
To keep the salon open, the work was completed in two phases, one opening at a time. The result is a crisp, transparent storefront that puts the salon on display from the parking lot and the walkway.
