Glass Double Doors | Manalapan Residence

This Manalapan residence has a long gallery hallway with cased arches, and the owners wanted to close one of the arched openings with glass so the hallway stays visible from end to end.

We installed a pair of frameless swing doors in clear glass, cut to follow the curve of the arch at the top. The doors are held by black patch fittings at the top and bottom corners and meet at the center with black pulls.

The black hardware frames the opening without hiding the stone trim, and the clear glass lets the patterned floor, the ceiling detail and the artwork read through from either side.
