Interior Glass Railings with Base Shoe and Black Cap Rail
This Palm Beach Gardens residence on Migration Point received a full run of interior glass railings around the upper level stair opening and along both staircase runs.
The railings were built in 1/2” clear monolithic tempered glass with machine high polish on all edges, set in a base shoe system and finished with a non-continuous low-profile cap rail over the glass. Matte black base shoe and cap rail frame the glass and tie in with the darker accents of the home.
The result is an open, bright landing and staircase where the glass disappears and the clean black lines define the layout. The project was completed and installed by the ACG Glass & Metals team.
