This Lake Worth home had a traditional wood picket railing running up the stair and along the second floor landing, which closed off the entry and blocked the light coming from the upper windows.
We replaced it with frameless tempered glass panels set on standoffs, keeping the same run and the same landing but removing the visual barrier. The gallery includes the original railing so the change is easy to read.
The standoffs and the continuous top handrail were specified in matte black to match the window frames and the interior hardware already in the house.
