Glass Stair Railing and Frameless Showers
This new build in Lantana called for a full interior glass package: an open stair railing and eight frameless shower enclosures, each one planned around the finishes of its own bathroom. ACG Glass & Metals handled every piece, from field measurements to final installation.
The stair uses 9/16″ clear laminated impact glass on a side mounted standoff system, so the glass sits off the face of the stringer and the oak treads stay fully visible. A low profile matte black cap rail runs over the glass from the first step to the upper landing.
In the bathrooms, every enclosure is 3/8″ clear tempered glass with the hardware matched to the room, in oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel or satin brass. The result is a house where the glass reads as part of the architecture, from the entry stair to the last shower.
